BTTM
OBJECTIVES   
The BTTM programme has been designed to prepare the students to enter the hospitality industry as middle management level employees and to serve in travel and tourism sectors. Upon completion of the course the students;
  1. Will have gained an understanding of travel and tourism and its operation both theoretically p and practically;
  2. Will be able to handle function of international tourist service operations including handling, managing and planning tours, treks and rafting programme and handling domestic and international air ticketing;
  3. Will be able to apprehend and appreciate tourism marketing, toursim development  planning, management and measurement,
  4. Will be able to pursue further (advanced) course in travel and tourism management;
  5. Will develop an entrepreneur skill in the travel and tourism industry.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
The candidates applying for admission to the BTTM programme must have:
  • Successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any academic stream from Higher Secondary Board or any other board recognized by Tribhuvan University with English as a compulsory subject.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidates seeking admission to the BTTM course should apply in the prescribed form for entrance test within the stipulated time. The applicants should enclose with the application form, attested copies of:
  • Certificate and testimonials of all examinations passed
  • Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates
  • Two recent passport sizes photographs
  • Must have secured 40% marks in CMAT exam conducted by TU.

ADMISSION TEST
The applicants will be required to sit for :
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview
  • Written Examination
Course Starts: 4th week of September each year

ATTENDANCE
Students are required to have a minimum of 8o°/o attendance in each subject to appear in the semester examination.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
After completion of six semester (Three years), students must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for a BTTM degree.
  • Successful completion of 96 credit hours of 1600 marks with passing grades in each of them.
  • Successful completion of Industrial Release Programme and Project Work.
  • Completion of courses for the fulfillment of BTTM programme must occur within twelve semesters from the date of  admission.

INTERNSHIP AT TRIBHUVAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
BTTM students of NATHM have been offered internship programme at Tribhuvan International Airport by Nepal Airlines Corporation Since 2007 and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Since 2009.
This is a golden opportunity of industrial exposure & career development for the BTTM students.

All amounts are in Nepalese Rupees. The above mentioned course fees are subject to change.
The first installment of Rs. 44,000/- must be paid at the time of admission. All other installments should be paid within twenty one days of each semester commencement. (Failing which a late fee of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged)

TRIBHUVAN UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION FEE
All applicable examination fees, determined by Tribhuvan University, must be paid before each semester examinations.

OTHER CHARGES
Cost for trips, sport events, cultural function etc. shall be calculated and collected on a prorate basis from the students at the time of event,  
Note: Incase of accidents and injuries inflicted upon the students, the academy will provide First Aid treatment as available at the academy.
