After graduating, Sunil moved to Sunnyvale, California and joined Corporate Inn as a Front Desk Officer and his position increased to Shift Supervisor and then to Night Manager in two years. After that he worked as a Front Desk Officer, Night Auditor and then as a Operation Manager in Quality Inn in California. His hard work and effort led him from the first level to the top level. He is a Certified Pool Operator(2007)-City of Albuquerque, Certified First Aid Provider (2005)-America Red Cross, Certified Adult CPR and AED Provider (2005)- American Red Cross. He is also the member of American Hotel and Lodging Association, Hospitality Management Society. SFSU, American Society of Minority in Hospitality. Deepesh commenced his studies with NATHM in 1999 and he is one of the students from the very first batch of Bachelor in Hotel anagement (BHM). He started his career with Raman Manpower Training Centre (RMTC) as an Instructor of F & B Services & Production. He got the opportunity to work in The Everest Hotel as an Officer Food & Beverage Service. After a very brief matter of time, he was promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager after one year.He says, “It’s been a lot of hard work and plenty of hours on the job, but it all pays off at the end of the day! The Everest Hotel is a fantastic company and is one that I would recommend for all prospective graduates”. Currently, he has been working as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the same. Though he is designated as an Assistant F&B Manager he has also taken the charge of F&B Manager and is responsible for smooth operation of all F&B outlets. He joined the inaugural intake of NATHM in 1999. Being a part of the first intake was very special to him he says. After completing the course, he joined LSG Sky Chef under Soaltee Crowne Plaza as Commi II and worked there for more than 15 months. Then he got opportunity to work in Radisson Hotel Kathmandu as Demi Chef de Partie. His rise through the ranks continued there where he was made Junior Kitchen Executive and Kitchen Executive after sometime. At that time he was appointed as a Departmental Trainer for Food Production and from that certificate he became Departmental Trainer for Radisson Hotel worldwide. In the meantime, he was teaching in RMTC and White House College. Then he decided to leave the hotel and step further in his career. Currently, he is Director - Operations in White House School of Hotel Management & Hotel View Bhrikuti, Godawari. He has two publications in his list and he is now working on a new book titled "Panjosh Basic Cookery" with his colleague, Pankaj Mehra.

SANAT NEUPANE

Sanat started his career as. HR Officer in Hotel de l'Annapurna when it was managed by Taj Group of Hotels.Following his interest in HR, he joined Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd. as HR Manager for Apparel Division. At the same time he had undergone various trainings. Currently he is a Corporate Human Resource Manager in Chaudhary Group, which is one of the largest corporate houses in Nepal. He has five publications in his lists.
Words from him: "NATHM has been a pedestal to my career. The tailor made hotel management course it offers has changed my life and taught me almost all the aspects of rofessionalism. I still remember my first day of college - curiosity and fear of having chosen a different field and same time I recall my last day of college- a confident young man with aspirations so high and dignity so alight. I really miss faculties, the support staff, friends, the college building, and all the moments be it excursion, farewell or the kitchen practical bunking. NATHM will always command a high respect from my end and I will find myself lucky enough if I could further contribute to any of its activities. ABHISEK BIKRAM SHAH

Upon graduating from NATHM, he worked in Casino Anna,Durbar Marga for few months and then in Hotel Royal Singhi as a Food & Beverage Executive for few months as well. As he says it was not his career path.
Looking to further his career, Abhisek joined Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu as a Hotel Operation Trainee for 14 months. Then he got to work as F & B Executive in the same hotel. His dedication in work led his way from an executive to Assistant Manager Revenue. During this time he was also awarded as "Our Heroes" from Asia Pacific Intercontinental Hotels among 218 hotels. Now, he has been working as an Assistant Front Office Manager in Soaltee Crowne Plaza itself.
Of his time with NATHM Abhisek comments "I wish to thank all the lecturers who helped prepare me to face the real world by sharing their experiences of the industry and by linking the theory with practical examples. ADARSHA DHUNGEL

He decided to make a further move in his career and joined Hotel Yak & Yeti as an Executive Assistant to Marketing & Communication Manager. His rise through the rank continued where he was made Sales Executive. He has balanced exposure in Hotel Sales and Front Office Operations.He is capable of integrating thoughts, strategy and action, thereby adding value in Senior Management cadre and delivering in Sales & Marketing or Operations.

PRASANNA SHRESTHA

BINOD ARYAL

KARUNA SHRESTHA

After completing the course, Karuna decided to step into education field so she started teaching Hotel Management in Lincoln College and Bishnumati College. At the same time she was a part-time instructor for all the hotel management courses at RMTC, Thamel. In the meantime she was also involved in one of the NGO named NOAH'S home.
It was her dream to work in cruise from the NATHM days. So, she took special course in Bartending. She went through various interviews here in Nepal to enter in cruise line and then she had to face interviews in India two times and finally she was ready to set off for the Carnival Cruise Lines in U.S.A. So, she is currently working there as Restaurant Hostess. During her initial phase in Carnival Cruise she had to undergo through trainings like "Hospitality and Communication Training" and "Crowd Management Training". She started her career in Carnival Cruise Lines as an Assistant Waitress and in a short period because of her good performance she was promoted to the Dining Room College where she topped the course.

SANINDRA GOLE (LAMA)

Sanindra's aim was to strengthen his experience with formal qualifications to create a background for ongoing hospitality leadership and success. During his studies in NATHM, he was learning and gaining experience in his family business as well. After graduating he worked from the basic level and then he was Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) at RMTC. After gaining experience in all the levels, he was ready to be the director to take full charge and major responsibilities of the company. Currently, he is working as a Training Director in RMTC, which is one of the best, reputed and oldest hotel management training institutions in Nepal. Apart from his regular training programs,he has been always instrumental for organizing various skills upgrading hospitality training for the existing man power of the industry and also worked as a coordinator in various mobile training programs in different parts of Nepal. SUCHITA RAJBANSHI

During my BHM in NATHM, I got the opportunity to do my internship in two 5 Star hotels, one is Hotel de l'Annapurna and the other one is The Everest Hotel. This helped me a lot to boost up my confidence and get additional knowledge of the real hotel industry. I am honored to say that I was awarded "Princess Jayanti Achievement Award" for the year 2004,2005 & 2006 for topping among female in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd year continuously. And a Gold Medal in the final year was most encouraging. I got chance to make my parents and teachers proud of me.
Upon graduating from NATHM, I was recruited at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu as a Guest Service Agent (GSA) at Front Office Department. At the same time I was doing Masters in Tourism
Studies (MTS) which was one of my dreams. So,giving priority to my further education, I decided to leave the hotel and continued my studies full fledgedly. When I was in my final semester of Masters, I got involved in an education consultancy. Currently, I am working there as a Programme Manager and looking after major responsibilities of the company. This company helped me a lot to open up and boost up my confidence and face the real world. Then I was offered to join NATHM as an Instructor in Accommodation Department. It was my privilege to serve in the institution from where I studied and graduated.

Prakash Regmi

Prakash Regmi, a BHM Graduate from NATHM is now a BHM Coordinator at Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management (NCTTM). He graduated in BHM from NATHM in 2006 and currently he is doing Masters in Business Studies (MBS) from Nepal Commerce Campus, Min Bhawan. He started his teaching career from Orient College as a Faculty Member of Hotel Management and then he worked at NATHM for about 2 years as a Front Office Instructor. His hard work led him to become BHM Coordinator in NCTTM and now supervises the entire management of BHM stream. He is also engaged as Head of the Department of Hotel Management in Pentagon International College. He is an Executive Member of Association of Hospitality Management Educators (AHME). Robin Shrestha

Robin Shrestha did his internship from Hotel Shangri-la for 6 months in different operational departments and at the same time he was involved in teaching in Hotel Management in different higher secondary schools such as Capitol Hill Academy and Kamana International College. He graduated BHM in 2009; has been very active in participating in different in and out activities of NATHM and casual works to different hotels. He is an Executive Member of Association of Hospitality Management Educators and he is also involved in FOCUS Nepal as a Special Event Manager. Currently, he is involved in Capitol Hill Academy, Guinness International Education Foundation and Greenfield National College as a Faculty Member of Hotel Management. He is a Managing Director of Everest Manpower Training Centre which gives vocational training to produce skilled manpower for hospitality industry where he is looking after the entire operation.
