IN TRAVEL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT
Objectives:
The BTTM programme has been designed to prepare the students to enter the hospitality industry as middle management level employees and to serve in travel and tourism sectors. Upon completion of the course the students;
-
will have gained an understanding of travel and tourism and their operation both theoretically and practically.
will be able to handle function of international tourist services operations including handling, managing and planning tours, treks and rafting programme and handling domestic and international air ticketing.

will be able to apprehend and appreciate tourism marketing, tourism development planning, management and measurement.

will be able to pursue further (advanced) course in travel and tourism management
-
will be capable of being an entrepreneur in the travel and tourism industry.
Eligibility
for Admission
The
candidates applying for admission to the BTTM programme must have:
Admisssion Procedure
Candidates seeking admission to the BTTM course should apply in the prescribed form for entrance test within the stipulated time. The applicants should enclose with the application form, attested copies of:
- Certificate and testimonials of all examinations passed.
- Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates
- Two recent passport size photographs.
- Must have secured 35 % marks in the CMAT conducted by T.U.

Course Starts: 3rd week of september each year
Attendance
Students are required to have a minimum of 80 % attendance in each subjects to appear in the semester examinations.

All amounts are in Nepalese Rs. The above-mentioned training fees are subject to change.
The first installment of Rs. 36,000/- should be paid at the time of admission. All other installments should be paid within two weeks of each semester. Falling which a late fee of Rs. 10 per day will be charged.s
Tribhuvan
University Examination Fee:
All
applicable examination fees, to be determined by Tribhuvan University,
should be paid before each semester examinations.
Other
charges:
Cost
for field trips, sport events, cultural function etc. shall be
calculated and collected on a prorata basis from the students
at the time of event.
Uniform
White Shirt, Blue Pant, Blue Blazer, Tie, Black Shoes and Blue Socks.
Note:
To maintain the standard, all uniforms must be stitched at the
tailor appointed by the Academy. The cost of uniform and journals
are extra.
